Verified minimum requirements
Steam and Epic currently agree on the main PC minimums for Halloween: The Game. Both official stores list 64-bit Windows 11, 16 GB of memory, DirectX 12, 45 GB of available storage, and an SSD or NVMe drive. Steam also lists a broadband internet connection.

These are minimum requirements, not a guarantee that every hardware combination will deliver the same performance. Check the current official store page again before purchase because requirements can change after an update.
Graphics and performance
The Steam store data captured for this project lists GTX 1660 or newer, RX 590 or newer, or Arc A770 or newer as the minimum graphics families. It also gives a target of 1080p at 30 frames per second for that minimum profile.
The specific graphics models and performance target were available from the Steam interface but were not independently repeated by a second official store in the collected material. They should therefore be read as Steam’s current listing, not as a cross-store guarantee.
Steam’s captured processor wording refers to Intel LGA 1200 or newer and AMD AM4 with Zen 2 or newer. This platform-style wording is unusual compared with a specific CPU model. Confirm it directly on the store page before choosing an upgrade.
Windows 10 status
The verified minimum operating system is Windows 11 64-bit. The collected official requirements do not list Windows 10 as a supported minimum. That does not by itself prove the game can never launch on Windows 10; it means this guide has no official basis to promise support.
If your PC still uses Windows 10, do not treat an unofficial launch report as equal to the published requirement. Check the current Steam and Epic pages, then decide whether an operating-system upgrade is practical before buying.
Before you buy
Use this short check before purchase:
- Confirm that Windows reports a 64-bit Windows 11 installation.
- Verify at least 16 GB of installed memory.
- Make sure DirectX 12 is available.
- Reserve more than 45 GB so installation and updates have working room.
- Install the game on an SSD or NVMe drive rather than a mechanical hard drive.
- Compare your graphics card with Steam’s current minimum listing.
- Reopen the official store page in case a patch changed the requirements.
The 45 GB figure is the published available-space requirement. Keeping additional free space is practical installation hygiene, not a new official requirement, so this guide does not assign an invented extra number.
Source limitations
A low-end PC test video was found during material collection, but no usable transcript was available and no second directly relevant video could be verified. This page therefore does not claim benchmark frame rates from that video.
The recommendation section of the Steam interface did not return a complete recommended-configuration list in the captured project data. Rather than copy an unverified third-party table, this first version limits itself to the cross-checked minimums and clearly marked Steam-only graphics notes.
